POSITION:

San Pantaleo Flat is a beautiful and warm property, located less than one hundred meters far from Piazza Navona and the colourful and bright Campo dè Fiori. The whole area is in fact characterized from the historic market that takes place every morning just around Giordano Bruno’s statue: a “living market” rich of spices, fruit and vegetables as much as fish and of course the embracing people of Rome. The Piazza during the afternoon and especially at night, turns into a real open air lounge, where people all over the world enjoy the plenty of bars and restaurants, as much as shops and other attractions. This flat is extremely central, and all the most important sites of the historic centre, such as the Pantheon, Trastevere and the Vatican, or the Forum and Piazza Venezia, are within walking distance.

DESCRIPTION:

The flat is located in fact, in the very heart of Rome, in Vicolo dell’Aquila, just by the corner of Piazza San Pantaleo, at the same distance between Campo dè Fiori and Piazza Navona. San Pantaleo Flat is on the first floor, no lift, of an early ‘800 building. The large entrance comprehends a French size sofa bed, a table with chairs and other furniture to make it comfortable and functional. The double bedroom is also warm and spacious with a wooden closet that beautifully matches the beams which characterize the ceilings of the entire flat. The kitchen is fully equipped, including washing machine. The bathroom is with shower.

AMENETIES:

The flat is fully equipped, including linen and bath towels, and can comfortably host up to four people. Cleaning is provided once a week. Independent heating.

ACCESS BY AIR

"Leonardo da Vinci" is an intercontinental airport located in Fiumicino, the 4th in Europe for number of passengers handled. It provides the traveler with modern services and facilities. It is 26 km away from the centre of Rome, in the southeast area and can be easily reached from the airport by public transportation and/or by taxi. At the International Arrival a Welcome Desk will be available.

Roma Ciampino airport is located on the Via Appia Nuova, 15 km from the centre of Rome. Airport available only for low cost flights

Time: 40 minutes (no intermediate stops).
Trains heading for Rome half-hourly each day, the train makes no mid-journey stops. Ticket from Fiumicino to Central Termini railroad station (one-way): fare EURO 8.80

Italy has 6,400 km of motorways developing a technologically updated network, which reaches all regions of the Country. Rome can be easily reached by road from the motorway network "Autostrada del Sole - A1", which is the longest Italian motorway going from the north to the south of the Country.

TRANSPORTATION WITHIN THE CITY

Several bus lines connect all areas of the city. The underground (Metro) has two lines, Linea A and Linea B. The two lines intersect at Termini railway station. Tickets, valid for 75 minutes traveling on the whole urban system (underground and buses), can be purchased at tobacconists and newsstands.
