The villa is located in Piano di Sorrento, which is halfway between Positano and Sorrento and about 7 km (approximately 4.3 miles) away from both towns.
DESCRIPTION:
Villa del Pino is a splendid villa with a private swimming-pool (long 6 mt ; large 5 mt; 2 mt deep), terraces, garden and an outstanding view of the sea.
From the main road that connect Sorrento to Positano, you will reach the villa trough a private road of 500 meters. On this private road, outside the villa, you can leave your car. From the private road you enter into the villa area trough a stair of 20 steps and you reach the terrace where is situated the pool from where you have a nice view of the coast.
The apartment C of Villa del Pino is composed by: one room with king size beds, one double-sofa room, one room with one single bed and one additional bed, 80 mq of living room (panoramic), terrace with table (panoramic), two kitchen and two bathrooms (one with shower and one with bathtub).
SERVICES:
The villa is furnished by an internet point and a hobby room. The apartment is furnished by washing machine, satellite tv and air conditioning.
Many hydrofoils and ferry’s arrive and depart from the port of Sorrento for/from Capri, Ischia, Positano, Amalfi and Naples. In the summer there is also an elevator service from the Villa Comunale for the beach and the port. For those travelling by car, Sorrento has several parking lots open until early morning (Piazza Tasso, via Correale, etc.) those travelling by train can get to Sorrento in an hour from the Central Station in Naples with the Circumvesuviana train. Those who prefer air travel may use the bus service that travels from Capodichino airport directly to the centre of Sorrento while those arriving from Rome may use the bus service that arrives and departs from Tiburtina Station twice a day, making the Sorrento-Rome trip a three and a half hour trip.

ITALIAN RECIPE OF THE DAY
For 4 servings:
- Garlic, finely chopped
- 50 g bacon, finely chopped
- 4 sprigs thyme, leaves picked
- 1.25 kg baby lamb chops
- Olive oil
- 1 glass dry white wine
- 600 g roasting potatoes, chopped
- A few springs of rosemary
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Combine the garlic, bacon and thyme and rub this paste on the outside of the leg and then season the inside with salt and pepper. Tie the leg together with string.
