Florence, from 19th to 28th January 2007
From Friday 19th to Sunday 28th January 2006 Florence hosts the Artisan Chocolate Fair, an event dedicated exclusively to quality artisan chocolate, the heart of Italian chocolate tradition.
For a whole day visitors can treat themselves to a scrumptious taste experience. You can find here Italian chocolate masters and admire objects and figures made entirely from chocolate and concocted right on the spot by these taste artists.
Great place for sampling: with your entrance ticket you will be given a passport allowing you to sample from 4 different chocolate creators at the fair. Caffé Mokarico, one of Tuscany's finest roasts, will be offering a coffee and tea to all visitors, perfect with a taste of chocolate! You can take advantage of sampling just like a connoisseur: coffee and chocolate, must try it to believe it!
There are many other events in conjunction with the fair: every day you will be able to enjoy Samba and Boogie-Woogie performed by Latin American artists, the taste of chocolate melts in the warm Caribbean atmosphere!
