LOCATION:

Tritone Type B accommodation is located on the 1st floor of an ancient palace (1400) that has endured several renovations throughout the centuries, up to the most recent one concluded in May 2005. The position is right in the historical centre, in the prestigious Via Del Tritone. The area where the accommodation is located, is one of the most prestigious and aimed of the city: equidistant from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and just few steps away from the famous Via Veneto and Piazza Barberini. This area is one of the most favorite by those who love a “cultural walk” or simply enjoy shopping. The famous Italian and international "griffe", together with many famous restaurants and canteens can be found in this area. The underground station (Linea A, Barberini Stop) is very close, the nearest taxi station is in Piazza Barberini and the several buses will help our guests to reach any place across the city.

DESCRIPTION:

The accommodation is an "open space" of approximately 85 sm and can accommodate up to 4 people. The accommodation has been decorated and furnished with good taste and refinement, in order to offer a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The original style has been maintained, for example, leaving the beams visible, consonant with the original architecture. The entrance of the apartment gets into a corridor where on the right there is a bathroom with a bathtub, heating towels and a wide space behind the mirror for personal belongings. Continuing, there is a bedroom with two beds with the headboard in wrought iron and a spacious closet. At the end of the corridor, on the left, there is a living room with a kitchen corner fully equipped. In the living room there is also a table with chairs and a sofa that can turn into a French bed. At the end of the living room, on the left, there is the second bathroom with a shower, heating towels and a wide space for personal belongings, behind the mirror.

ACCESS BY AIR

"Leonardo da Vinci" is an intercontinental airport located in Fiumicino, the 4th in Europe for number of passengers handled. It provides the traveler with modern services and facilities. It is 26 km away from the centre of Rome, in the southeast area and can be easily reached from the airport by public transportation and/or by taxi. At the International Arrival a Welcome Desk will be available.

Roma Ciampino airport is located on the Via Appia Nuova, 15 km from the centre of Rome. Airport available only for low cost flights

Leonardo da Vinci - Rome Termini Railway Station
Time: 40 minutes (no intermediate stops).
Trains heading for Rome half-hourly each day, the train makes no mid-journey stops. Ticket from Fiumicino to Central Termini railroad station (one-way): fare EURO 8.80

Rome is the focus of the Italian railway network. Excellent Intercity service links Rome to every major town in Europe. Termini Station, the main railway station, located right in the centre of the city, provides swift service to and from all points of the Country.

Italy has 6,400 km of motorways developing a technologically updated network, which reaches all regions of the Country. Rome can be easily reached by road from the motorway network "Autostrada del Sole - A1", which is the longest Italian motorway going from the north to the south of the Country.

TRANSPORTATION WITHIN THE CITY

Several bus lines connect all areas of the city. The underground (Metro) has two lines, Linea A and Linea B. The two lines intersect at Termini railway station. Tickets, valid for 75 minutes traveling on the whole urban system (underground and buses), can be purchased at tobacconists and newsstands.
