HAZELNUT TOWER

LOCATION:

In the heart of the Viterbese Tuscia region, Vignanello is 16 Km from the Viterbo Thermal spas and 75 Km from Rome.
From here you can easily reach Bagnaia, Orte, Bomarzo, Marta as well as the lakes of Vico and Bolsena. Situated near to the motorway, to the regions of Tuscany and Umbria and this makes it an ideal starting point for longer-distance excursions.

DESCRIPTION:

An ancient rural tower that, with its cellars, have been transformed into an unusual, characteristic, cosy and elegant residence. A family-like welcoming, the privacy of such an unspoilt place, the pleasant corners where to relax, make it a perfect shelter for those who seek tranquillity and comfort. By walking down ancient lanes and tufa stone stairways, in two minutes you can reach the historical city centre where you can visit numerous places of tourist interest. This is also a location for private dinners and parties in the characteristic, ancient wine cellar dug out of the tufa stone, equipped with a large table to host more than 25 people, a wood – fired oven for pizzas and other traditional dishes and a romantic stone-built fireplace.

Torre Avellana is an old tower without elevator and the three floors are connected with a spiral staircase.

POMEGRANATE & LEMON ROOM:

These rooms are equipped with private bathrooms and have a wide panorama of the valley, the ceilings have chestnut beams and suggestive walls which are partially dug out of the tufa stone. The rooms have an internal access from the Tower with a spiral staircase and an independent entrance coming in from a characteristic pedestrian lane. We apologise, Torre Avellana does not have a lift.

HAZELNUT ROOM:

It has a wide panorama of the valley, the ceiling has chestnut beams and a suggestive walls which are dug out from the tufa stone. This room has a shared barhroom.
